Have you always wanted to be a lifeguard? Well, now is your chance! The City of Kerrville Parks & Recreation Department is currently hiring lifeguards for the summer season at the Olympic Pool.
Applicants must be at least 15 years old to qualify and be able to work late May through the middle of August and special events as needed in the summer. Training prerequisites include a 100 yard continuous swim, brick retrieval from 16 feet, and tread water without using arms for 1 minute. Lifeguards also teach swim lessons.
Not Certified? No problem, Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Training will be provided for $100. This fee is eligible for reimbursement for those who complete the season. Learn lifesaving skills, earn money, and meet new friends.
Uniforms are provided to staff and starting pay is $10.00 per hour. Positions are also available for cashier and management. Experience required for management positions. Applications can be picked up at City Hall located at 701 Main Street, Kerrville TX.
